Sound Waves Levitate Multiple Objects: Acoustic Tweezers for Contactless Medical Procedures

In the perhaps not so distant future, surgeons could perform a range of medical procedures all without touching the patient, thanks to advancements in 'acoustic tweezers'. These were the kind of things I was excited to read as a kid; not some SJW/NPC nonsense of some communism/wealth redistribution scheme. Good things are still happening around us and science is still improving and expanding. It's not very long ago we heard about optical tweezers which ended up with the Nobel Prize for physics.

Now, monks in Tibet have been levitating rocks, with sound, for longer than recorded history.

So, i do not discount the idea.
However, that this is a tool for "doctors", and that they will be able to do amazing things, is a little hard to swallow.

First, "doctors" need to learn that vibration is the most important thing about health of a body. Chemicals are almost inconsequential to a person who has a decent diet. But, what do you expect from the medical industry that was literally started by a snake oil salesman.

Vibration is the most important aspect, and will become the most important field of study about the human body. And as such, you better be careful about injecting sound waves into the body.

Was just about to reply to this interesting post with the comment, "And in the distant past."

Then I saw your comment. Agree.
Cheers to change.
Doctors wake up! Or get more courage to stand up to the system. Easier said than done. Change may be coming though.

Cool stuff. Dig the vibration discussion.
