Nutritional benefits of animal based products - a myth

 

PROTEIN 

If you eat meat and eggs for protein, then check the difference between animal protein and plant protein.

IRONIf you eat meat for iron, then check the difference between heme iron and non heme iron.

VITAMIN B12If you eat meat for Vitamin B12, then check why B12 is now absent in almost all foods and even meat eaters are likely to be B12 deficient

If you drink milk for calcium, then check how casein, a protein in milk, leaches more calcium from your body than it apparently provides.

Unlike plant based products that are rich in essential fatty acids, meat, eggs and animal milk contain a high percentage of saturated fat that increases our cholesterol level and blocks arteries which is a major cause of heart related diseases.

 

CHOLESTEROL 

Unlike plant based products that are free from cholesterol, meat, eggs and animal milk contain cholesterol. Known as dietary cholesterol when ingested, its consumption increases the cholesterol level in our bodies resulting in blocked arteries and a host of diseases.

HORMONES 

To make some grow faster and bigger for their flesh and to make some produce more eggs and milk, not only have domesticated animals been genetically modified, but are fed large amounts of hormones which create a hormonal imbalance in our bodies when ingested through their products.

 

PUS 

Animals are as prone to infections as us and there is every possibility that pus unnecessarily enters our bodies through their products.

ANTIBIOTICS To fight infections and survive in conditions in which they would otherwise die, farmed animals are given huge doses of antibiotics that create drug resistance in our bodies when consumed through their products.

Surely these are available in milks and eggs... In Europe, these farmers are controlled  and have ethical standards that should be followed.. Of course there are farmer lacksheeps that do illegal things .....

Animal farming itself is inherently unethical
