DLive tipping problems? Here's a guide on how to resolve one issue.

So your watching a stream or video on DLive and you want to tip the streamer but the tip doesn't go though. Well since I just helped someone with this issue I figured a guide was in order. We were watching @shadyshadow live kitten stream (Warning excessive cuteness). Since he couldn't get the tip to work I tried a test. First click on the Gifting box:

You get the Choose Your Gift popup. Choose either steem or SBD. I have .001 from a pesky spammer in my wallet messing up my nice round number so I'm sending that as a test. I entered that amount in the donation then clicked on send.

Notice the text in the lower left black box. You can just click on OK. Now if you got a popup window you are good to go. If you didn't go to the next step

This is for chrome but I'm guessing firefox has the same issue and solution. It just may be in a different location. Notice in the upper right next to the url bar there is a window icon with a red x. If you hover over it it will say Pop-ups were blocked on this page. Click on that.

You should see the following. Of course the url will be different.

You can either clock on the link or always allow pop-ups from https://dlive.io then hit done. I like more control so I just clicked on the link.

You should now have the steemconnect popup window visible. Click on continue.

You are presented with a login screen.

Enter your username and active private key. NOTE: Make absolutely sure you got here from DLive and the URL is secure. Do not use your owner key or master password. Use the active key.

Click on Sign In. You should now have a screen that says Congratulations.

That's it. The fix is that simple. It's just popups being blocked on the site.

Now your transaction wont show up for at least a minute do to the steem blockchain requiring 21 blocks to verify the transaction. Each block is approximately 3 seconds for about 63 seconds. It will show up in your wallet on steemit immediately though.
