Public School Compassion: 9-Year-Old Autistic Child Put in Handcuffs for Fighting Bully
Here's authoritarianism and compulsory schooling at it's finest, folks.
9 year old Devin Shepherd was placed under arrest at his Franklin, Indiana school back in 2017 after fighting with a bully, and hitting a teacher who intervened. See video here.
It amazes me how incompetent these adults are when it comes to conflict resolution.

Man, some cops I have a ton of respect for. I don’t know of a single instance when a cop has actually prevented a crime though, and their existence in today’s world is kind of beyond me.
I’ve lived in quite a few communities (i live in one now) where there are zero police. We have serenazcos which are like glorified community watch and sometimes look scary as fuck but there is virtually no crime here.....i think there might have been a rape in the 80s maybe.
Why cops were even called is my concern. So much fear at home that grown adults need armed protection from children. Its crazy

Fuck yeah, I think unschooling is the best schooling. Well not exactly a sort of schooling but yeah schooling at home.
It's great we can prepare our children for everything and they will grow exactly how we want them to grow.

Pretty incredible that someone in a teaching position would consider it appropriate to involve the police in an altercation between two children. One of the arguments I often see often put forward against homeschooling is that it does not facilitate the development of social skills such as conflict resolution. The only thing being taught here is that the solution to any dispute with your neighbour is to call the police. One would wonder what is the role of the teacher .
