Printing your own money with your own STEEM POWER is absolutely okay !
I’m sure not everyone is in a position to give to others.
Wouldn’t be nice to have more middle class steem citizens in our steem world

I think in the long term we will have a more successful community when the self-vote percentage is lower. I do see certain situations where self-voting is viable, acceptable, maybe even encouraged. But think about the only self-voting scenario, and I think you will see that it is not a social platform at all.
So we need to vote for others, in fact the main technology behind steem (the consensus algorithm) only works when we do. Self voting wasn't always allowed, just the recent hardfork 19 activated the current situation regarding this. It appears the upcoming Hardfork 20 will make minor changes, but otherwise continue this experiment.
The important thing is to be open and talk about it. The blockchain after all is public, we can get reports on every user! And if a user is only voting for themselves...do I want to interact with that user? Its not just about me (ex. gimmee votes), but if a user is not helping to identify quality content (ex. your resteems and votes on other videos) then they are not helping us grow as a platform.
Just my thoughts! Going to watch video when I get back to the office :)

I could easily create multiple accounts and act like I’m not self upvoting. If I do something I’ll do it openly
Also it’s okay for people to self upvote and get some emergency money if they need because SP is locked up for 3 months
Certainly I’m not encourage self upvoting because it’s stop our community forward but Steem Blockchain needs lots of improvement and we’re still in experiment days.
Basically I hope more people buy SP at current price
Indeed! It is so easy, in fact, I have many accounts! Personally I keep thinking of new ideas and want to register more accounts to do different things, try different scripts or programming, or even do an autovoter for my favorite content producers.
But the dark side is also available!!

I also think that is a very interesting use case, getting some emergency money! That surely would be a viable use of SP! I did see certain developers begin a short campaign of self upvoting while SBD rose over 10 dollars and was multiplying our payouts late last year. There are so many adventures on the Steem blockchain, we just keep living and learning, and building!
