Craig Murray is former UK ambassador to Uzbekistan. He lost his diplomatic post and got into alleged hot water when he became an enemy of the government after he exposed torture programs conducted by both the US and the UK. The British government and the United States government hate Craig Murray.

Most Americans have no clue who Murray is. Essentially, these days he is an academic who lectures, a whimsical but very serious on-point political commentator and also he's a very close associate of Julian Assange of Wikileaks.

In fact, Murray has frequently publicly reported that he flew to Washington DC to meet with someone at a university park in order to retrieve the documents Wikileaks used to expose the DNC emails.
