Creature Feature 20, The Lesser Wendigo [stats and fluff]
Here's a sample two page spread of a monster I made for the 5th edition of Dungeons and Dragons. My design inspirations for the book (as these are all eventually going into books ^^) are The Tome Of Horrors: Complete (Swords and Wizardry version) and The Field Guide To Cthulhu Monsters (both versions are superb). I wanted to go for an oldskool vibe, but the 5e crowd seems more new school and respond better to color. Eventually though, I will do a collected OSR version that will be black and white throughout.
This monster in particular is also influenced by the Cthulhu Mythos. That might not be too obvious, but it goes along with another creature (more of an NPC actually) I've named The Ithaquan Druid. This monster is an example of what happens to those that succumb to the Ithaquan Druid's teachings. It's also the form the Ithaquan Druid can take via its Wildshape ability.

We don't do 5e at all, but we do some stuff. My suggestion would be that you talk to game designers and get them to use Steemit. I'm planning to try and wrangle a bunch of people when I'm at a convention in July, but I'm not sure how well the effort will go.
