TRYING NEW CALMING TABLETS FOR THE NEVER ENDING FIREWORKS AND THE RUN UP TO THE NEW YEARS CELEBRATIONS

in #dogs5 years ago (edited)

After all the drama with the fireworks yesterday and my dogs getting into a right mess even with using calming spot on and spraying the house with calming spray they still suffered.

The argument with fireworks will continue with some wanting them banned and others not. I would like to see a ban on fireworks sold to the general public, selling to a licensed venues for displays would stop the noise so close to home plus won't get used by minors out in the streets.

OR ANOTHER OPTION

Low Noise Fireworks would benefit everyone

So until something is sorted we have to find something to calm our dogs.

With this week being a busy one, we have 2 nights out for Nichola's 21st birthday we have to make sure our dogs are going to be OK by themselves. We have the camera sorted so we can keep checking in on them, I have the calming spray that sort of works and now we are trying out some calming treats that hubby's work friend uses, they have got good feedback.

These are pricey £20 per pack, they come in soft chewy heart shaped treats that you give 1/2 in the morning and 1/2 at night.

I have given them there 1st dose, I will continue with these now for New year so they are in there system for the New Years Celebrations. I am hoping they will help calm them for Thursday night for my daughters meal out then Friday for drinks with family. Keep your fingers crossed for us please.
