Fear of heights

Being afraid of heights, it is quite normal. This is a sign that the creature is not taking an unwise step, especially if the legs are short and the body is very long.

I had a dog, a basset hound, it was very difficult for him to go up and down the stairs. He was very long, on very short legs and very heavy, more than 50 kilograms.

He looked down for a long time with his sad eyes, then he looked at me. Sometimes, I had to take it in my arms and lower it down. For me it was a serious physical education, but how to refuse to help the one whom you tamed. And why did I read Little Prince Antoine de Saint-Exupery?

He very much appreciated this, but sometimes he was cunning and refused to overcome small obstacles on his own. But, in some cases, he forgot about the obstacles when his bladder was very tight. He also jumped into our car very deftly and quickly, without much delay.

This dog seems to have a basset hound among its ancestors. Very similar to the structure of the legs and elongated body. The dog for a long time did not dare to come down from the curb. He made several attempts. At the moment of truth, I photographed it.

When he made a soft landing, he proudly raised his long tail and, with the air of a winner, withdrew.

As the classics say, the biggest victory is a victory over oneself. And this dog won in this difficult battle.
