In all the religions, our soul is considered as an immortal entity. Though, there are differences among religions to describe the way soul is treated after the death, every religion firmly believe that only our body dies and death is nothing but the separation of the body and the soul. Hindu and Buddhists believe in reincarnation i.e. to reborn as a new person after one's death. Semitic religions do not believe in the theory of reincarnation but they do believe souls are immortal.
It is a highly debatable topic but no one knows exactly what happens after death.
Do you believe in the existence and immortality of souls?
- Yes.
- No. There is no such things as souls and spirits.
- I think we can never get the answers about soul and the way it is treated after death.
- It is not important for us know about the existence of soul as we have given just a single life.
- All terms related to souls and spirits are coined for exploiting the poor and uneducated people.
- It doesn't matter whether souls exist or not but it is important to live a generous life.

- I think soul is immortal but the concept of hell and heaven is not based on truth.

You don't need to believe in it. You need to know it.
The physical body is not you. You just use it.
Our souls/conciousness are eternal.
We lived before our physical human bodies came to existence, and we will live after our human bodies die.
So there is no such thing as death.
Or at least not like (in the form as) most people are imagine it.
There is physical death, where the physical body dies, but we don't die.
That is not the end of us. That is just a transition.
At the time of the death of our physical human bodies, we (our soul/consciousness) will continue to live on.
Yes, there is proof for this.
There are thousands of NDEs (Near-Death Experiences).
Check the website of NDERF (Near-Death Experience Research Foundation): Current NDEs.
There are literally thousands of NDEs on that website, which proves that this statement is true. Currently (2019.05.11, 15:45 CEST) there are 4656 NDEs on that website, and it is constantly/regularly updated.
Some people even have multiple NDEs, and some people even wrote a book (or more) about their NDE(s).
Most of these experiences are very positive, and most of the people are feeling endless, unconditional, infinite love and wellbeing (without any pain) after they separate from the physical human bodies.
There are also neutral and negative (or partly negative) experiences as well, but that is certain that we continue to live on.
