Where Are The Children?

Children

Why are so many children born in poor countries and so few in rich countries? (Fertility rate below 2.1 children/woman in average, means population decrease, see here on Wikipedia.)
(Don’t think it was easy to make this poll, or I’m seeing only the numbers… I feel horrible perceiving millions and millions of tragic human fates.)

The poor are stupid.

The rich are stupid.

The rich are too selfish.

Southern countries are too family-centered.

The poor and old need health care and pension assistance from their children.

It depends on education and culture.

The poor have no money for contraceptives.

Make 6, maybe 2-3 will survive (high child mortality).

Complicated, having few children is also a problem in some poor countries (China, Ukraine, Portugal, Greece, Russia, Thailand, etc.)

Someone or something is slowly poisoning us.

The poor are not stupid, they just need more enlightenment and education.

Same as the kids else they end up poor and maybe stupid..
