dPoll development update: Stake based result view

in #dpoll5 years ago (edited)

Just pushed a couple of enhancements to dPoll where you can see the results by stake based. The default view still renders the account based voting but you can change it in with the filters in the sidebar or by adding ?stake_based=1 to the address bar.

Example

Account based view:

Stake based view:

How does it work?

  • Voter account's owned SP is the metric. Delegations and witness voting proxy are ignored.
  • Results are dynamic which means if somebody power-ups, or power downs their account, numbers change automatically.

The next issue we will try to address is bundling the discussion thread into dPoll interface.

Have fun.

Nice :)

During Dan's Poll last week, I was going to take a look at how it would look with Stake instead of vote count. Then I got a bit distracted ;)

Awesome stuff!

Thanks. :)

Here is the link to check Dan's poll within the stake based result view.

Very cool. Quick, hide it before @jaynie sees! :D

@emrebeyler and @abh12345.... Hahahah, reporting to @jaynie :P

haha :)

let me go get some popcorn for this!

already brought some popcorn myself. :D

Cool! Voted for Fire until Death.

That's quite cool... so effectively we get to compare how far the views of the wealthy correspond to the average?

not yet :) but that's the first step to make it happen.

I think it’s better than the comment thing he’s got going on :) .

What’s missing ?

This is just wonderful to hear. now I'm going to go answer some polls and make one of my own.
