Does love mean ''Never having to say sorry'' ?

I understand the sentiment behind the saying, "Love means you never have to say your sorry," but there really are times, even if you do love someone, that you should say you're sorry, even if it's not truly necessary.

Even in times where it's not due to abusive behavior, or neglect, or something worse, but an oversight, or a reasonable mistake, "I'm sorry," as long as it is heartfelt, is always going to be welcome, and probably more endearing if it weren't ever said.

I guess there could be some people who are pretty sensitive about this on either side (saying or receiving), but for the most part, I would say saying sorry while meaning it and correcting the action is more likely to be received well and appreciated than not.
