My All Time Favorite Drama Series : METEOR GARDEN
Do you still remember Shancai and Dao Ming Si??
Well, who would forget these people who fought for their everlasting and true love! I was a big fan of them when they were introduced on television in 2001, they were the main characters in the series Meteor Garden that was adopted by Taiwan originally from the Japanese manga series of Yoko Kamio. This Taiwanese drama starring Barbie Shu, Jerry Yan as Dao Ming Si,Vic Zhou as Hua Ze Lei, Vaness Wu as Mei Zuo and Ken Chu as Xi Men. It was produced by Comic Ritz International Production. </p>

The story of this drama series centers around a poor teenage girl named Shancai who was insisted by his parents to enter a university of the rich people. The university is dominated by Dao Ming Si , Hua Ze Lei , Mei Zuo and Xi Men four students of the university who are rich, handsome and famous but arrogant they are known as 'F4', short for 'Flower 4'. They are heirs to four rich and influential families in their country, Taiwan. They terrorize the school by handing out red cards to those they do not like, which allows other students to bully the victims until they leave the school.
After one of Shancai's friends receives the wrath of F4's leader, Dao Ming Si, Shancai stands up to Dao Ming Si and berates him, which in turn results in a red card of her own. However, Shancai's persistence in standing up for what is right gradually gains F4's respect and Dao Ming Si falls in love with her. And the story of fighting for their love has began as Dao Ming Si's mother did everything to destroy their relationship.

After the first series, it was followed by a sequel, entitled Meteor Garden II. The story once again centered about the love of Dao Ming Si and Shancai. In this story, Dao Ming Si lost his memories due to an accident and led him to love another girl named Yesha, a princess who was battling against sickness. At the end of the story, their fate was to have a happy ending.
Another version of Meteor Garden was adopted by South Korea as they introduced Boys Over Flowers. This television series is very special because of the cuteness of their acts. The characters were bubbly and Korean Culture and Tradition were emphasized. I really love this K-drama.

Now, a 2018 generation of new stars in China introduces their version of Meteor Garden. I haven't seen its drama yet, but I'm looking forward for its thrilling and exciting version.
