Yes, she's one tough lady. In the beginning I was quite unsure on how to finish the picture, and I thought maybe the drawing would lose too much definition if I ink it this way. But I'm quite happy with the end result, so it's all good ^_^.
Whoa, I am flattered that you consider to commission me. But I'm still experimenting with ink brushes a lot, and I'm not sure if I can guarantee quality work because of that reason. Maybe after I've done ten drawings in this style. I am more confident with the style I used in Pocahontas.

Is she kicking arse while wearing thongs? I feel like she's Aussie in which case I wouldn't be surprised if chucked a jar of vegemite at their heads too.
She's wearing sandals, not thongs, but close enough. And pls choo, she's a real lady, that's why she wouldn't have any jar of vegemite with her person.
Maybe she was on her way home from coles. Totally legit reason to be carrying it around. Of course, if she used it as a weapon she's gonna have to head back there after taking care of business to get some more.

Aaah is it too abstract? I was afraid that this one is too loose as a drawing. But I'm glad that you worked it out eventually. Yes I was having fun with ink brushes :D. I think experimenting is the fun bits in drawing, but it's also a huge waste of time if things don't look good in the end.
And I also had the same thought with you, like shouldn't she wait and listen to their answers first? But as you said, she's outnumbered and it's better to strike them while she still has the element of surprise.

Yeah in the thumbnail I thought I saw Tengu, which if I'm understanding martial arts lore at all is a compliment to her baddassery.
I might want to commission you, if you want to play with some more brush work. Would love something in a style like that for an aikido t-shirt.

Very nice! The positive space of the ink swirling around her really implies a sort of coiled energy, ready to strike.

Oh wow, this is so different from your style that I'm used to seeing. Great job capturing her pose with your inking.
I had fun splattering brushes all over the canvas. Though thankfully it's all digital so I can always erase the bad lines lol.
