Ahem there is a nsfw explanation for that. I am not wicca but have friends that love the topic , o e even make traditional brooms, at least they look so authentic and pretty. She is a talented long time friend illustrator, Victoria Frances, and recently published a book about witches and makes the prettiest pagan pictures.

I had a professor tell me that for every good drawing you produce, you're going to make a hundred bad drawings. I'm sadly finding that to be the case in my experience as an artist. But all the artwork you have on Steemit is awesome! Looking forward to seeing more :)
Your professor is so wise and truthful, they're probably looking behind my shoulder and counting my failure attempts lol. Well, our failures, if we have to go by your words, even though I don't believe you fail as often as I do since you make comics for a living and they're awesome.
Well but even my professors make bad drawings too. It doesn't matter how long you've been drawing for, we all make mistakes. But it's okay because you can always learn from them!

There was a bad 90s sitcom where there was a young witch that flew around on a vacuum cleaner XD
At a wild guess if they're imbuing magic into something to give it anti-gravitational/"flight" power then a broom would probably be easier because it's small and easier to leave around unobtrusively (not too many people might notice a broom especially if it's shoved into some hedge or something, chairs etc might look a little bit out of place in the middle of a forest XD).
Chair would definitely be more comfortable and I reckon unless magicking it was too hard she totally should have gone couch or bed and just had a spot of tea and a book while waiting to get to her destination in business class ;D
Vacuum cleaner witch eh? Reminds me of a character in Hunter x Hunter, though she's not a witch.
I would vote no to flying with broomstick, maybe the best way to fly is really using a magic carpet? They're soft and compact at the same time.
Heheheh if we're talking about VIP way of flying, maybe it's best to just make the whole house fly, like in the movie Up... though parking would be problematic >_>.

Lol. Had never thought about the comfort factor before, but you're totally right. The only thing that concerns me about this particular stool is there doesn't appear to be anything to grab onto if she slips, or hits turbulence.
I’ve thought about it and decided drawing fences all around is overkill lol, so I just assume that she puts a spell that glued her to the chair until it lands.

It's easier to get out through the chimney with a broom and you clean your chimney on the way out! ;)
