Perhaps the Dream is Dreaming Us

As the world turns and our webs of mistrust catch us and devour the goodwill and optimism, we reflect on the ways of escapism; the shows, movies, books, travels, relationships, adventures; all those pleasurable ways we extract ourselves from reality. Then imagine a world where everything is productive, where all our activities are enjoyable, despite at times possibly being hard work, but always gainful in a constructive, aesthetic, scientific, or societal sense. As we float inside the vast cradle of the universe in a haze about purpose, our identity, the destructions of our ideologies, and the general sense of gossiping pathos that can miserably define the human condition; isn't it well to ponder that our psyches are lost in a corrosive dream of tribalism and primitive scapegoating? Maybe the human cogito can awake from the dysfunction of division and rightfully perceive the holism of our species and all related life on this pale blue dot of paradise.
