Marsha Norman is a US-American screenwriter and novelist.
Her most famous work is the play "Night, Mother". For this play she received the Publizerpreis. She wrote not only scripts and dramas, but also lyrics for musicals.
For the musical "The Secret Garden" she wrote the lyrics and the script for which she was awarded a Toni Award. The play is based on the novel by Frances Burnett.
