Steemgigs Discord Talkshow (07-07-18) Was About Steemit Reward

Even headless is bigger things than content.

The question is what get curated and who get curated?
@maverickinvictus welcomed everyone and warned them about background noise. And everyone was encouraged to join first #ulog contest.

And attendance rallied to 16 steemgigers anxiously waiting to learn from Terry.

The Show Began Proper

Although Terry came late, nevertheless he apologized for coming late. Again, the show is not organized.

But I think the unorganized talkshow is sweeter😍.

What is rewarded on steemit is a valuable topic in terms of success. History is a first step on steemit, if you are new and know the history of the platform, you will have an edge.

Producing quality content is freedom, not everyone is here on steemit for the rewards. You need to remove things that will rob you off of your own joy, don't compare your yourself (content) with that of someone else's content.

@surpassinggoogle said "I never thought I could earn on steemit." He is here for a real reason, to have impact on human.

Value is what is rewarded.

There is a lot of content that goes behind the scene, and get rewarded on the scene. Having this in mind will not let you lose yourself because valueless contents get rewarded.

You don't have to hit yourself unnecessarily because of such reward. Community is also part of the beauty on steemit, the platform is made up of several communities.

Sometimes, it is not really about monetary value, it may be for more visibility. More upvotes means more visibility on steemit blockchain.

History of steemit will help you in appreciating all changes that has occurred on steemit. Posts trend for different reasons;

• Some new users may get spotted by whale and upvoted because it was foreseen that they will add value to the blockchain.

• Some already have influential friends on steemit before they come onboard.

• Some are celebrity and people just want to associated with them.

• Some are on whales' auto vote because of value they bring to the platform.

• If you write about scarce topic, people might want it to be found organically on the search engine. And the monetary value may attract more people to steemit.

So many thing are happening behind the scene, focus on your primary audience (yourself). One line Zapp can get highly upvoted by Zappl because it constitute huge value to Zappl. It all depends V A L U E.

There is timeliness factor to value, for instance, an accurate information about news or event may trend because it has value. Even if the post is a sentence, it may be more valuable than 6,000 words posts. In general, it is not all about volume, quality is highly appreciated.

Community is essential to steem growth, and community constitute values in itself.

History of steemit will give you joy and more freedom. There has been movement, good changes.

Mehn! I never knew that there was time when steemit payout was 24 hours:) I never knew about this history until @surpassinggoogle mentioned it.

History is an essential part.

Minnows are potential whales, some whales are now minnows.

There are bigger things than quality, it is the truth. And quality is subjective.

Conclusion

Every post is priceless, if your post doesn't earn well, it is not a measure of it quality. Your cookies are priceless, the most beautiful thing is you.
