The legend sayed, that the name of the castle comes from the fact, that an unpopular lord of the castle, was slain with planks by his subjects.
The name really comes from an old word "planch", translated means "shiny", because the castle was of of the most beautiful castle around.
Yes, you can also visit the castle in Austria, Sankt Oswald by Graz.
