Drop in the Ocean: [009#] OPPORTUNITY
Opportune Times!
Back once again for the Drop in the Ocean get together! With everyone producing amazing posts making for a great show on Monday, although we mostly all agree on the general idea of our topic.
It is always amazing to read everyones perspective on the topic with a unique view relevant to their lives. As always, each post has a valued take away on the topic of the week, Opportunity.

The votes have been rolling in from the attendees of the show and we have the posts ready to share with you all.
The top two voted writers will 'level up'. When a member has leveled up, they will receive a daily upvote from the BuddyUP account at 50%. The member keeps their level for 2 weeks, unless they level up again on DITO within those 2 weeks. Every time you level up, you will receive an additional 10% on your daily vote, maxing out at level 5.
The writer with the most votes will be resteemed straight after this post. This is so we can all look back at the BuddyUP blog and see the winning posts from each week.

First off, we have @kchitrah with insight from her own life, reminding us of the fact that although opportunity may have stopped knocking, it doesn't mean that it has gone away.
Like me most of us don't seem to be answering the door because we feel we're not ready, need more resources, or perhaps have had a bad experience and don't want to get hurt again.
She eloquently explains the reasons we might not want to open the door to opportunity, using thoughtful insights from her own life experiences.
@kchitrah not only provides insight, she also shows us a few steps that will help us answer the call to opportunity after the fact.
Even after having the courage to open the door, there is then the question of following through.

Circumstances have been tough for @andysantics48 as of late. She shares with us the unfortunate realization that due to a cattle disease in New Zealand, she will be losing her only source of income.
Sharing in her post an opportunity she has been working on herself to gain another source of income for the past few months.
I chose to do this with the idea of starting a small business in my slow season after the calves are all reared and off eating grass.
Handmaking these products might help her to gain a very needed source of income, combined with a generous gift in this time of uncertainty, another opportunity presents itself.
When he saw that I was having trouble he offered me a new opportunity...
