Drug War Stories: Denied in Delaware

in #drugs6 years ago

Well gang, it sounds like the sheeple and the storm troopers are unconvinced that their wicked war on drugs has not completely failed. Instead of trying to actually finally regulate these dangerous substances, the tools and the tyrants who are the opposite of leaders think having the government pass laws that they know many won't follow and then put their head in the sand like ostriches. These tyrants act like the continued negative outcomes justify even more treasure, loot and lives be tossed away into the tragedy of the commons that is the war on drugs

Today's drug war story is one of the saddest parts of this failed intervention. Not only does the war on drugs rip off the tax payers, and directly hurt drug users, but the failures of the panoptikon to sufficiently have specific deterrence to ensure guards of these insane incarceration institutions do not have incentives to become criminals themselves.

What an insane world where we send those who didnt conform to hell holes and then the storm troopers holding the keys become deviants themselves. Real good proposal to turn even third parties who are meant to help with "corrections" n' "reformatory" become the cattle the prison industrial complex thrives on.

So dude was arrested with another fellow gard for smuggling drugs and cellphones in Delaware "maximum-security prison" for pecuniary gain. The two adult humans were sentenced to 3 years in a cage for conduct in which no other human happened to be raped, murdered, assaulted or even stolen from.

The reason for the news piece was dude was requesting home confinement so he could have a nicer cage closer to his family instead of an eight hour time difference subject to some non noted form of transportation in the article. Dude was hoping to spend half his cage in a nicer situation, at a place where he used to be one of the sheep dogs keeping the plebians in line.

Piece leaves me wondering if he is going to get that request of home confinement. Intresting times with many states making pot legal and the Feds still have the laws on the books to bust'em. Wonder whats going to happen when non-compliant states start losing federal funding due to pot policy. Lots of drama and confinement left to play out in this crule ironic story of American freedom in practice. Don't get me wrong. Got big props for this nation. Just still could be much better.

yea, the stability is nice and the relatively fair markets are great, but still the war on drugs is totally despicable.

The war on drugs is truly one of the most disgusting ideas human beings have come up with. It's so frustrating that this is even still an issue. So many have woken up to the failure of the drug war and yet there are still so many others that blindly accept the idea that all drugs are bad (except those sold by big pharma) and all drug users are worthless criminals (except for family members and/or rich people).

yea, it's sad we still have to have this conversation, but so it goes. We can realize a better more just world. I think series like this helps people realize they are not alone and the narratives from the fake news are not true.

now where is everybody poisoned by drugs .. even i am very concerned about our young generation who have been influenced by drugs

Greeting @fatkat

people wouldnt be poisoned if the quality was guaranteed. Unfortuantely the war on drugs makes drugs less pure and more dangerous, which is kinda funny in a really messed up way when they pretend the war on drugs is to help these victims.

Most people refer to this "war" as a failure. They think the government actually has good intentions with the war on drugs. That is not the case. It is actually big business and is working swimmingly for the institutions and individuals that profit from it.

Not sure if most accept the failure it is yet, if they did I would think policy would have changed or is about to. Hopefully we will be free someday.
