Getting on board the Drug Wars train hype!

By now most of you might have already heard about the newest craze here in the Steem platform, a new Steem based dapp game called Drug Wars!!!

Like SteemMonsters, Steemgar (Steem's version of Agar.io) and Steem PacMan (Steem's version of the game PacMan) in DrugWars, players are rewarded some liquid Steem just for playing the game.

The game feels like one of those time-based online games which is/was popular years ago where you add and/or upgrade buildings to increase the production rate of some of your resources in the in game (drugs, alcohol and weapon) or create some units to battle/loot or steal resources (drugs) from opponents.

If you have played some Facebook games before or the good old web-based games in the past, I'm pretty sure DrugWars would feel more or less familiar to you.

Anyway, I would just like to note here that at the moment I'm only using my alt Steem account to play the game as I still don't know who is behind this new dapp game. But when it comes to security, the game uses SteemConnect so rest assured it is somewhat safe. I've also seen some orca/whales who are already playing with their main account so I think it's okay to give the dapp some required permissions for your account.

Now I'm pretty sure you are itching to ask now how to earn some liquid Steem from playing DrugWars.

At the moment, I believe there are two ways on how you can earn some Steem in the game.

First is by simply producing drugs.You can create drugs by creating buildings that manufactures them. You can also upgrade the said buildings to produce moreeeee drugs. The more drugs you can produce, the more cut you will get in the reward pool.

Drug Wars is one of those online games that somewhat limits players on how much they can progress by setting time and limiting resources one can get over a period of time. It's like one of those games that tests your patience if you can wait an hour or two (or a day or a week) just to finish upgrading 1 building. Some players have the patience while some have not and had to rely on $$$ to speed things up, except on this one you could breakeven what you invested on the game and earn easy profit later. XD

And the other one is investing some drugs for the next heist. Again, the same rule applies here: The more drugs you invest, the more cut you will get in the reward.

So how much to expect?!

I created an account yesterday and also created some buildings that produces alcohol, weapons and drugs and judging on what I got from yesterday's daily payout, I'm not at all disappointed. XD

0.016 Steem from drug production and 0.004 Steem for the heist. I know it's not that much at first glance but I did create my account close to midnight (where @drugwars pays their players) so I think it would have been double or triple that amount for a full day. Also, I'm a free player so I have not been able to upgrade much my buildings.

Well I'm just really glad that there are now more and more games being built on top of Steem. I remember back then that the main reason why I joined Facebook was to only beat my classmates/friends in the games on that platform.

I really do think that with the more games we have in here, the more likely we are to attract real people who will stick with Steem for a longgg time. Not everyone loves writing/blogging but almost everyone enjoys playing games online (plus being rewarded to play?!!!!!) XD
