Man I am quite happy, I managed to get my guitar repaired yesterday and it wasn't too expensive.
Ever since I came back from the steemfest in Krakow, the guitar had a "buzz" when on particular note is played.
It means that one frequency was making the wood vibrate .So we had to look inside it with the repair guy, and found a piece of wood a bit detached on the body.He fixed it with some glue, and it was brand new!
It's often the case when travelling with an instrument, especially long flight with a transfer, you can be sure that they will destroy your case and guitar.
Over the years. I've spent tons of money on repairing my instruments damaged during a flight, that's why always try to have travel with it on board to avoid unnecessary damage. Rant over 😛

I know what you mean, it's always good to start something from scratch, but no matter for Covering, covering has its value too, when Johnny Cash did it, why not you or me :D, he also covered bands which came after his era which made him a great man to me.

Yeah Ray Charles too used to cover a lot song too, especially at the beginning of his career when he was unknown...
Johnny Cash songs are particular difficult to sing for me , I just feel that I always do too much, I really think you need to be over 40 for having the right tone for his songs.Does it makes sense?
somehow :D and also depends on Vocal tones, and somehow I agree with original because I think people usually get back to original and they won't accept the cover equal to original, even if someone doing it better. but well both working :D, I was thinking that you are successful by doing these covers, maybe your only problem is asking a right to release, asking their managers to let you release them.

One of the hard carrying cases with a removable lid. Approximately 15 inches tall by 15 inches wide and deep enough, 10 or so inches, to hold about 50 records and a pair of fifteens.
That break at the 3 minute mark of your song.. Man I imagined a group around the camp fire, that guitar rif, some thighs and hands around the fire as drums, etc. good times. Excellent cover this morning!
