An acute analysis of Venezuelan musical phenomenology tells us that the Tenth Spinel serves as a poetic-literary basis for popular musical creation. These manifestations refer to events that range from religious cults or celebrations of a human nature. In the eastern Venezuelan region, types of music such as the fulía, the point and the gallery and music are directly related to the religious devotion to the May Cross, the Virgen and the Saints. Contrary to this, the Oriental Bagpipe, the Margarita Bagpipe and the Antillean Bagpipe, refer, for the most part, themes of everyday life, historical accounts, references to popular characters, humorous questions and even fables and myths. All of them sung in tenths.

This piece of land in the east of the country shows us, at present, an interesting and significant musical universe that enriches its collective feeling and its daily dynamics. It is in this socio-historical-cultural evolution where we find the indigenous, European and African musical contributions that have merged to offer us that beautiful musical range that this federal entity called Sucre State possesses.

Despite the strong globalizing process of culture, the devaluation and the loss that is experienced today of some of the musical expressions in Venezuela, in Sucre the musical tradition is maintained, through a process of resistance, because it feeds on the constant inventiveness and the deep popular roots of its cultores.

With this brief introduction, we present the song of today entitled, without more or less, "Our Music". It is a song that has the shape of Antillean Bagpipe and is one of the musical expressions that were brought to Venezuela via overseas, specifically from Spain. This musical typology is rooted in a type of Spanish song whose music has a direct relationship with a very popular song in the Spain of the XV and XVI centuries.

Today's song is conceived in such a way that it tries to approximate the melodic reminiscence of Spain at that time (15th and 16th centuries) and, at the same time, stamps the personal stamp of the Venezuela of the eastern coastal region in a way particular and characteristic. In this Antillean Bagpipe there is evidence, then, of a hybrids and musical mestization product of the European colonization to which our peoples were subjected. On the one hand, the melody is of Spanish origin, on the other hand, the instrumental use of Cuatro, Mandolin and Guitar demonstrate the creolization of music by the use of completely new musical codes and textures by our native-native musicians also with the use of maracas.

This Antillean Bagpipe is a traditional-popular music with a fixed rhythmic-harmonic pattern. The author of the lyrics is Pedro José Mago and the author of the letter Hernán Marín. The first, has been Rector of the Universidad de Oriente (UDO-Venezuela) and an individual linked to the world of numbers and the educational sciences already retired, also writes verses in his spare time as a form of hobby and hobby, and the second, he is a consecrated artist linked to the world of traditional Venezuelan popular music and the song that still continues to delight us with his art.
