New Royalty Free Steemit Night Time Ambient! Amazing Frogs And Angry Dogs! Sounds Of Vietnam
Today or here in Vietnam is it still night and I have an awesome nighttime sound for you! When the sun sets and the day noises slowly fading away and the night creatures coming out then it is their time to rule the world.
I love recording at night. I did some really scary recordings at night in Los Angeles and honestly, I walked around with my microphones and camera in not so safe areas but I can't stop what I love and night recordings playing a big roll in my recordings for film, music and video game production for background ambient.
About the recording!
We rented our house in Hoi An very close to the rice fields and the sound that I recorded is from amazing frogs. You can only record this sound after rain. No rain, no frog sound. Then you can only listen to crickets. Nature is just amazing and everything has a reason.
I went out at night to capture frog sound and in the first two minutes, you can listen to this sound alone. After two minutes the wind kicks in and I use a different microphone inside a Blimp. A Blimp is a wind protector and for field recording a game changer. Nothing is worse than having wind in the recording and with a windjammer, you can just block the wind and only record the sound of the leaves. It's just beautiful.
But I wasn't alone. Street dogs spotted me and gave this recording an amazing roundup. You can listen in the recording, that they come really close to me but I just love dogs and they just bark. They would never attack.
Imagine I was sitting in the middle of a ricefield with zero lights. Just me, the darkness, frogs, and dogs!

For the future. We just bought our tickets to Bali and we stay one month. After Bali we flying to HongKong and Tokyo renting a camper again and driving for two weeks with the cherry blossom. I'd love to have that much time to travel
Hi Beryl! That is a good point but dont look at me as somebody who has time to travel. I am 35 years now and since I am 17 years old I worked really hard every day. I had a dream board on my door and one of the big bullet points was "travel and explore the world". I never bought stuff I don't need like a fancy car or fancy clothes. Only what I needed and the rest went into my savings. Now I use this money to travel the world and record sounds that anybody can use for free. Make yourself a vision board if this is your dream and you will see it will come and you have the time to see the world.

Hi! Yeah 15 years ago when I was 20 I remember getting my first phone :) It was a Motorola with antenna! Technology changes so quickly and Facebook and Google wasn't there either. The possibilities that you have no are huge so I wish you all the success that you deserve and I see you around Beryl :)!

During the last few times I was in Vietnam, I didn't hear any of those sound except for the cock doing cock-a-doodle-do from 6am to 9am
Oh yes, the cock a doodle doo! We have some roosters in the neighborhood but now I don't car anymore. It is dark night right now and I should be already in bed. I just checked and no frogs because we had no rain. If its rains before night they come up from the ricefields. I love this sound
