La Quiero a Morir, es un tema escrito por el francés Francis Cabrel, no es muy conocido entre el público latinoamericano, sin embargo, el tema puede que sí ya que fue versionada por artistas como Manzanita, Camilo Sesto, Raphael, Conchita o Jarabe de Palo, la canción 'La quiero a morir' (o alguna de sus versiones) forma parte de nuestra memoria colectiva y por último por Shakira que es la versión el cual interpreto con mi violín.

El tema tiene una belleza melódica y poética indescriptible. Sus versos nos hablan de una persona perfecta, del amor perfecto. Es una canción tan directa que pone al servicio del otro un marcado desinterés personal con tal del bienestar mutuo. Nos habla que una vez llegado a ese punto, no importan los obstáculos porque por ella, serán sorteados. Al fin de cuentas, esa persona nos conoce de una forma tan concisa que no estamos completos sin ella, ya que la queremos a morir.

The theme has an indescribable melodic and poetic beauty. His verses speak of a perfect person, of perfect love.
