Today's topic is mostly about new changes, and the highlights are:

  • Malaysia just had a new government swooned in, and the previously 4th Prime Minister of Malaysia, Tun Mahathir (Tun M), is now the 7th Prime Minister. Pretty meta, I know.
  • Tun M is 93 this year, and for his to lead this and do the things he do, is truly amazing. The guy could have retired, but I guess he wanted to make sure he did the best he could with the time he has, for the country.
  • That prompted me to ask, if you're making excuses like "Oh, I'm too old for this shit", then let him be an example for you and me.
  • Tun M is also going against the political party he has leading during his previous term - one that he was involved in growing as well.
  • That prompted me to realise how hard it must be to undo the work you're done, tear down parts of the walls you've build, just because it wasn't built in the right way. Relationships will be affected, ego has too be hung in the closet.
  • That also lead to me to think, "What are we refusing to change, because we "built" it?", or "What are we so personally attached too that even if we know it's broken, we are still clinging on to it?"
  • In parting thoughts, what are some new changes you're prepared to make? I know I have a few things that I need to relook at in my life, so perhaps it's a good time to check on yours too?

For the longest time, I've always been only writing, and because of that, as far as Steemit Bootcamps and Masterclasses are concerned, I can only teach what I know.

So starting Monday, 7th May, I decided to for 21 days, I will work with podcasts and DSound, so I can get familiar with the process , the challenges, the equipments, and hopefully be able to break down the process so others can follow it too.

Stay tuned for a grand compilation post of the best of the best, at the end of this experiment.

And of course, stay awesome!

Mini Motivation is my own daily strategy to inspire myself. Mostly 3-minute reads, and now, podcasts!

From Motivation, we gain Inspiration. From Inspiration, we achieve Momentum. And the rest, they say, is history.

Hope it helps nudge you a bit too in the right direction.

Oh it did? Let me know in the comments, and of course an upvote would be a nice motivation for me. :)

Stay awesome!

Wait, why's Mav posting on Steemit nowadays?

Well, unlike other blogging and social media platform, Steemit is the only platform that allows me to earn cryptocurrency when I engage with it. Yup, one Steem is about USD5, and you, too, can earn Steem Dollars every time you:

  • Create content (articles, blog posts, podcasts, videos, photos)
  • Upvote (like) other people contents
  • Comment on other people's posts
  • Have discussions, share opinions etc!

Yup, basically it's the very same thing you're doing on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc all along!

The only difference? For once you can earn a nice income on the side!

Sign up for a free Steemit account, and you can thank me by coming back and upvoting this article. And guess what, you will earn Steem too for doing that! #awesome
