Sendas del Pasado - Original Song (Live Acoustic)
Hello Dsound and Steemit!
This is a cleaned up version of my original song ''Sendas del Pasado'' on it's last version which I performed for the Open mic family , this is actually a more simplified take than the original as it seems this one is evolving by actually taking out some unnecessary elements. Sometimes less is more! Who knows if i'll end up recording this one on a more serious level but I thought about sharing this little version over here.
Hope you like it!
(P.Mena)
Un corazón cansado
Tiempo que se invierte
Disuelve mi présente
Se pierde , Se esconde
Un día mas.
Almas que se unen
Que viajan en un túnel
Velos que se mueven
Despiden al que quieren
Se pierde, Se esconde
Un dia mas.
La senda
del que vino ayer
Las horas
la forman
Y lo vuelvo a ver
Deja tu ser
Lava tu piel
Al saber que
Juntos venimos
Y nos iremos también.
Here's a translation:
Roads from the past.
(P.Mena)
Roads from the past
a tired heart
Time that reverts
Dissolves my present
It gets lost and hides
one more day
Souls that unite
travel in a tunnel
veils that move
they say goodbye to the loved ones
They get lost and hide
one more day
The trail
of the one who came yesterday
The hours form it
and I see him again.
Leave your self
Wash your skin
By knowing
We all came together
and we will leave together too.

Sometimes, a voice and an acoustic guitar is all that's needed for a song. :-)
I will admit that I like to add more stuff to my songs, but that helps to cover up some of the sloppiness in my tracks. :-)
