As I had promised, I'm posting the complete discography of Los Cañoneros. This time it is the turn of a song that is not a cañonera song itself.

With a view to a serie of shows that we were going to do in the carnivals of the Azores Islands, we decided to perform a song by a composer from the island. So we met this Charleston, which was one of the foreign rhythms played by the cañoneros of the early twentieth century.

The music is from one of the most prominent musicians and composers there, Teofilo Frazao. The lyrics were written by who was our presenter on the island, the poet Victor Cruz. I wrote the Spanish version of the lyrics, since we included the Portuguese text also in the recording).

As I mentioned before, this recording was made from a vinyl record, since the original lists are not available.

Tal como lo había prometido, sigo publicando la discorgrafía completa de Los Cañoneros. En esta ocasión le toca el turno a una canción que no es cañonera propiamente dicho.

Con miras a una presentaciones que íbamos a hacer en los carnavales de las islas Azores, decidimos interpretar una canción de un compositor de la isla. Así nos encontramos con este charleston, que era uno de los ritmos foráneos que tocaban los cañoneros de principios del siglo XX.

La música es de uno de los más destacados músicos y compositores de allá, Teofilo Frazao. La letra fue escrita por quien fue nuestro presentador en la isla, el poeta Victor Cruz. Yo hice la versión en español de la letra, ya que incluímos eltexto en portugués también en la grabación).

Como lo he mencionado antes, esta grabación fue hecha de un disco de vinil, ya que las listas originales no están disponibles.

Wie versprochen, gehe ich mit der Veröffentlichung der komplette Diskographie von Los Cañoneros. Diesmal ist ein Lied an der Reihe, das selbst kein Cañonera-Lied ist.

Mit Blick auf eine Reihe von Shows, die wir auf den Karnevalen der Azoren machen wurden, beschlossen wir, ein Lied eines Komponisten von der Insel aufzuführen. So trafen wir dieses Charleston, das einer der fremden Rhythmen war, die von den Cañoneros des frühen zwanzigsten Jahrhunderts gespielt wurden.

Die Musik ist von einem der bekanntesten Musiker und Komponisten der Insel, Teofilo Frazao. Der Text wurde von Victor Cruz geschrieben, unserem Moderator auf der Insel. Ich habe die spanische Version des Textes gemacht, da wir auch den portugiesischen Text aufgenommen haben.

Wie ich es früher erwähnte, wurde diese Aufnahme von einer Schallplatte gemacht, da die Originaltracks nicht verfügbar sind.
