The Sheep Look Up
So this is an experiment in soundtrack arrangement and composition. I have played around with recording my my vocals and violin for this working piece. The mood is definitely futuristic and dystopian. Though this is quite unfinished and a few of the transitions need work, I thought I would share as it is so different working on soundtrack arrangement...so much play with tension and suspense.
I titled this working piece "The Sheep Look Up" which is the name of a John Brunner novel who was inspired by a line from a Milton poem. If you like dystopian then I definitely suggest you read. Speaking of which...reading is one of my favourite pass times...currently reading a book by Robert Schoch on ancient Egypt as well as two essays on psychological analysis by Jung. Are you guys reading anything good?
