Veda 08 / London's Vanishing Car Parks
It's day 8 of #VEDA and I spent the majority of today walking. I had the day off so I went around taking photos and recording some stock 'b-roll'.
I will do a video about why I record stock b-roll some other time.
There is a disturbing trend in London these days with car parks being acquired by development companies and turned into blocks of flats.
Her Majesty the Queen, Elizabeth, is also getting her own metro line.

Hi @adetorrent! Development like you're seeing in London is happening everywhere. I've watched it slowly change the cityscape in Seattle. Losing green space is very disheartening to see. I wonder often wonder how development changes like this will effect people living in the city 10, 20, 30 years from now? For example, will less people drive because parking has become so difficult? Will more people build rooftop gardens to replace the shrinking green spaces? Time will tell I suppose.
Indeed time will tell. Someone said there may be a general move towards eradicating private cars all together in the future.
Taking a good walk while doing something you cherish so much is really a great feeling. Thanks for sharing sir @adetorrent
