It could be your favorite because you actually use it and it works (or because somebody used it on you and it worked). But it doesn't have to be. It could be your favorite simply because it amuses you, or grosses you out, or seems particularly lame or creepy or awkward or surreal or dumb or crude or clever.

One that's worked for me in nightclubs was just to ask
What time is it?
For some reason when hearing that in a nightclub setting most women respond with
Why?
Then I say
Because my car turns into a pumpkin at midnight
Then I just walk away
For some reason they always come back at midnight to ask if my car turned into a pumpkin
So then I say
I dunno, let's go and see.
