Super cell Thunderstorm June 2nd 2019
Short 1.5 Minute video of a timelapsed passage of a line of thunderstorms, that happened to converge into one rotating cell above our heads. I just so happened to get the GoPro set up to film the view from the back deck and the cell just so happened to pass right in front of the view of the camera.
Observe the intense rotation of the storm beginning at 0:21 seconds. I am using the wide angle setting to capture the horizon so that must also be considered in terms of distortion of perspective. Note the trees bending with the wind.
I observed no downed trees but a couple limbs broken mainly from rotting trees.
Intense downpour, fortunate again no tornado dropped over our location.
James and I were with Grandpop riding out the storm inside.
