Ben Tahn Market in Ho Chi Minh City
One of the best place to look for stuff in Ho Chi Minh is at Ben Tanh Markets. You can literally find all sorts of food, clothes, hats, bags .. all made in Vietnam with really good nice quality and at extremely reasonable price.
Yes yes .. some of the goods here are not authentic and original, however the quality of the goods are almost just as great and it doesn't hurt the wallet as much.
You are also able to find a lot of local delicacies and you can practically spend the whole day walking here. So if you are heading over to Saigon .. this would be one of the places you should just spend time in. There are also other places which you explore .. however unless you are planning to buy in bulk then it would be worth while as the price you pay if you added in the cost just to get all the way to the other part of town, it may cost about the same if you calculate it.
