An Open Message to Whales/Orcas/Dolphins Who Sit on Their VP...GUYS, TAG THEM HERE PLEASE!
Initially I was just going to rant about this. But then I found myself directing my message to @riverhead for taking Kpine away from us and Falling culprit of sitting on his VP. I know it's yours and you can do as you please with it @riverhead, but you (through @kpine) were such a great addition tothe community in terms of support. It saddens to see you resolving to sit on it , at least take on Kpines noble task and support your favorite creators on auto vote, touch some lives.
I also appeal to other large SP Holders who sit on their VP to consider auto voting some creators or delegating to those that do manual curation if that's what they prefer.
Guys, Tag those Big Accounts That Are always 100% VP Below if you Please.
Let's Try to Get Them Involved.

The still and stagnant waters of the impotent steem whale create an unnecessary bottleneck. I'd also imagine any deep lined pocketed potential investors outside of the steemsphere would definitely look into what the largest accounts are up to here and find a very uninspiring disinterested segment of the ecosystem and move on hastily.
You know what, I was thinking in the same line. Sometimes when we approach investors who have potential to buy millions worth of Steem, they might request to see what people in their league are up to, unfortunately, most of the people who hold that kind of STEEM Power are so Idle! It creates some sort of uncertainty. I really wish they'd just consider auto voting instead of just letting it sit. I've been trying to reach out to some to no avail.
Idle or worse whale antics! Best wishes on this catching momentum..I am only a somewhat familiar character to but a few whales here and they're very much active or at least antagonists...

There's only so much the few that are active can do. When we start getting more users it might not be pretty. I think we'd retain more users if they all were as active as some of the whale accounts.
Yep, I tend to agree, though having only been around since the exodus of many of the OG whales/orcas I don't have much experience to draw from. I'm less than 6 months old.. But, I've seen some good sh@t slinging...

Even I have some people on my STEEM Auto. It is just one of the most useful tools for people who don't have time to do manual curation right? I am not going anywhere, my love runs deep ;)
There are a lot of them, they don't want to delegate it and don't want to upvote anybody. It makes me angry as well to see so many people getting voting power 100% without using it. Some of them even are well upvoted by others and dapps, but still not using it. Sometimes I think that there is something hidden that we don't know about, some reason that so powerful people are not upvoting others, or rarely using their power.
I cannot think of a good reason at this moment to be honest. If the account isn't being used what good is it? I have tried reaching out to a few, among them @riverhead, @roadscape, but to no avail.
Maybe we should all try to reach out to them?
Now I have 75% resources left but no time left for steemit today. I really wish that I could turn my votes up to 1 000% or 10 000 % to actually finish off my resources by giving some dimes or dollars per upvote to worthy people. It would feel so much more worth my time to just look up 1-10 posts that feel worthy of my resources than looking for tens and tens of articles and give away tiny amounts of money to each. So tiny amounts that would be insignificant to the people I upvote anyways. I wish steemit made a 10 000% and 1000% option. I'm in a hotel in Manila with too slow wifi for dtube seemingly so this video doesn't even play (been trying to load it for 10 minutes), but I understand from the comments what it is about. Maybe it is so easy that lack of time is why a lot of Whales/Orcas/Dolphins doesn't vote? But then why not delegate.
I see that my power (tiny though) was back to 100% now so I'm gonna upvote a bunch with the symboic voting power I have, but is there a tutorial on how i delegate it when i don't have time to use it myself? Can some one link the tutorial here? Thanks!
There's so many ways I think you can delegate , the easiest is the @steem-plus ...With this extention, you can delegate Steem Power Directly from your Wallet. Here's a guide on how to do it. I have used it before and it was very effective..
In other news, I think as long as you are making use of your VP no matter how small your SP is, you are far better than people who sit on it. Keep on adding value.

Out of the hideout: 100% all the time where as tiny steemians are trying to make contact for support triggers a thought - is there a 'tor' like secret that is know only to the whales? I think if they took the initiative to support inter-regions/country steem movements, a lot could be achieved as opposed to the idea of trying to on board new souls with no guaranteed support at their end regardless of how quality their work is.
At least they should assign/delegate their powers to selected individuals per region, they stands to loose nothing, actually it's a gain to them.

Now I managed to see the video with my slow buggy wifi and one thing confuses me as a newbie though @elsiekjay. If I hear right then you mention that @riverhead could delegate some of his power to @kpine or someone else so he is not just sitting at 100%, but @kpine also has 100% now and you too :) I know you support and comment my first post and other things but it is just confusing to me. I wish that steemit would have a page that showed those who has consistently ran out of power or voted a lot almost daily in the last month so one could go and delegate power to them where one would know that it's not just going to be unused . :)
Riverhead had delegated to Kpine before and he was doing great with curation.
Now he's just sitting on the VP. That's what I meant.
