Views on church has become rather subjective today. Many people began finding it an easy corner to be judgemental from, especially very religious folks. This has made a lot of people think of it as a building filled with hypocrites, and makes them dislike the very idea of having to go to it, so they tell you the church is in them, and there's no need to congregate.
For me, when I hear the word church, I first think of it as a gathering of people for worship and insights into God's word. Then on a second thought, I always think of it as a rehab.. A place where many imperfect people come to seek grace to turn from wrongs, or just try to act saintly for some hours.
Great thoughts sis. Yea it's a group of people that God calls. Another thing too is that I think many outsiders consider church/religion to be a joke so to speak. Meaning they really don;t take it seriously. And yes alot of that has to do with how they judge people who claim they have faith in God.
