ulog #1: My First Ulog - The Fountain Experience at Okada Manila

in #dtube6 years ago

To be honest, I was hesitant to make my ulog since I am a very private person. But when I heard that our privacy could still well be kept. Not to mention all the #ulogs I read on everyone's posts, then I didn’t have second thoughts joining in the wagon.

Here is my first ulog. I hope you enjoy the experience as much as I did which I will be sharing with you today.

Travelling to Manila from our province could only take about 3-4 hours by private vehicle. Thanks to the expressways made to make travelling more convenient and faster.

The destination was to see The Fountain at Okada Manila.

Did We Miss it?

We arrived rather late at the Casino-Resort for the Fountain show. People were going out of the fountain area already. We saw the fountain "dancing" with the beautiful colors alright. I was in awe at how huge the fountain was. But my cousin said that we have not seen the best part of the highly-acclaimed fountain.

I got dismayed a bit, I admit. But only to learn it is on a thirty-minute interval. We thought we missed it, almost blaming the heavy traffic. Lol.

So we had to wait for another thirty minutes. But I am not to complain. There were a lot to see: high-end boutiques, restaurants and kiosks, people from all walks of life and the fountain itself. Before long, the thirty minutes was up in no time. It was announced that the show will start in five minutes.

Yey!

I don’t wanna miss a thing

That was the title of the song played during the fountain show. I would say it was very appropriate. Looking at the world’s largest multicolored dancing water fountain, I do not want to blink for fear of missing out a snippet.

Jaw-dropping, the audience, including me of course, wowed in sync at every mesmerising spurt of the fountain or change in color.

It was amazing to witness how the colored lights and fountain sync with the rhythm and music. It seemed to be dancing. Really.

What I found out about it was really impressive seated in a huge 3.7 hectares fountain lake:

It is equipped with 739 water nozzles, including WET’s proprietary underwater robots, 2,611 colored lights and 23 speakers.

Okada Manila, located at Paranaque, runs this show from Sunday to Monday starting at six till ten in the evening at thirty minutes interval.

It is an open fountain, so we get to have this world-class experience for free. Yes, you read it right. It is for free!

It was truly a memorable sight to see and experience. So in case you happen to be in Manila, drop by this place and be amazed.

Enjoy the vid and please do not get distracted, albeit sync, with our “oohhs” and “aahhss”. Lol.

Didn’t Miss A Thing

Travelling with our loved ones is an opportunity to bond and spend quality time with them. So, it is very great avenue to strengthen the love and togetherness between our family and friends.

This travel to experience the Fountain at Okada Manila is awesome, impressive, memorable. I could very well say that I didn’t miss a Thing!

Thanks for taking the time to read my first Ulog.

Thanks so much to @surpassinggoogle for this opportunity of #ulog where we can share our experiences to the world and be a Celebrity!
