#LivingElSalvador. My #WednesdayWalk Through Our TROPICAL BACKYARD.

So today I would like to take you for a little #WednesdayWalk in my backyard and give you a little tour of the tropical fruits that we planted. So thank you so very much @tattoodjay for this awesome initiative which I love, love participating in, since it is so important for all of us to find at least 10 minutes of the day just to go out in nature and enjoy a little nature walk which is great for our overall being.


I know that this is not really a walk, but since we moved back to El Salvador in July of 2018, all of our days are pretty much being outside since being inside the house is just too hot and people in El Salvador don't like to stay inside the house, they are always outside and that is why I fell in love with El Salvador because my backyard is my home where I spend most of my day, when I am home. The only time really we spend inside the house is when we sleep, because we even eat outside most of the time except in the evening.


But that is another topic. We are still learning and experiencing how to grow and take care of these tropical trees, since there are so many different procedures of taking care of these trees, and so it takes time. Some of the trees we planted did not make it, some made it and we are always planting and transplanting more trees and flowers in our backyard and infront of the house.


One of our obstacles is that we don't have very good dirt on our backyard, so it makes a bit harder to grow anything and now we also have an underground bug which kills the trees and anything we try to plant and so we are trying to get rid of it, but it has been pretty hard because we are still trying all kinds of different things and don't know which one actually works and will get rid of this bug for good, so it will take some more time.


But again, that is another subject, so I just hope you will enjoy my little tour of our tropical fruit trees on our backyard, which we feel so, so blessed to have.
