Cuando Anastasia y Drizella las hermanastras de Cenicienta, destrozan su vestido con el consentimiento de su madrastra Lady Tremaine, es ahí donde ella sale a llorar a un banco de piedra bajo un sauce llorón en los jardines de la Mansión. Cuando de pronto se sorprende porque se da cuenta de que ya no llora sobre el banco sino sobre el regazo de una anciana que la consuela y que apareció por arte de magia. Esta anciana casi no tiene que explicarla que es su Hada Madrina, ya que el que haya ido a ayudar a Cenicienta quiere decir que cree en ella, además Cenicienta lo supo en cuanto la vió. El Hada Madrina se conpromete a hacer sus sueños realidad para que vaya al baile.
