In this report, I cover the early market action from London on Thursday, May 9th, 2019. I look briefly at the precious metals, the stock market, the dollar, the bond market and the price of WTI and Brent crude oil.
Today I talk about meeting an old friend and work colleague from my days as a broke in the City of London. I went up to the City yesterday to meet up with an old friend and chat about the markets and the system. In this report, I go over what we chatted about and how we agreed that the financial system is still very fragile.
It was interesting that after we met I received a text back from him and he actually said he thinks the system will fall apart soon.
We also concluded that most of the people involved in finance or in the City of London know nothing was fixed after the Collapse of 2008 but that people will continue to "play the game" as long there is a game to be played.
