"Robertas Visinskis is the Founder of Mysterium Network, an open source, not-for-profit foundation focused on security and privacy, and the world’s first decentralised VPN blockchain project.
With over 13 years of experience in IT, Robertas was previously CEO and CTO of Trustribe, which helped peer-to-peer companies attract and engage more visitors to their websites, as well as built unified e-reputation management platforms. He was also CTO and Head of Product Design at Meta Group, where he was responsible for market analysis, customer discovery, UX design and product implementation.
Robertas holds an Executive MBA in International Innovative Management from Kaunas University of Technology, the largest technological university in the Baltics and a leading Lithuanian university for Management Master’s degrees.
He currently serves as an advisor to blockchain projects Edgeless, Monetha, Iungo and Birdchain."

Very interesting talk but other than the obvious benefits of blockchain tech, I'd wonder what benefit there might be to be gained over, say, nord VPN using the Onion Over VPN option.
I enjoyed the conversation and interview today - decentralized VPN seems a no-brainer as one of the things one would tokenize and monetize the world's resources. I didn't make it to the live chat but I would have asked about liabilities and how they intend to address it. Will they lobby, educate, inform...? Countries could decide to fine or jail people for allowing certain traffic through their network - they already do that with certain content in some places.

This was an interesting interview.
Privacy is a concern. It would be good to see the product offered in some of the open source routers. How much information can be leaked with your commercial routers. There are so many layer where you privacy can be compromised. With VPN, I'm concerned is the leaking of DNS data. A lot of the US carrier mobile companies are hijacking DNS requests. Thus, meta data is being leaked. Keeping your privacy on the internet is a full time job.
