Cross Blockchain activity: An Opportunity?

Hello Steemians,

So lately I have noticed a lot of our Dapps offering other blockchains to use them.
For example :
Steemmonsters now accept Tron users
You can make both Future coin and or Steem from Drugwars
Even Appics has now announced it is going to accept EOS users from what I understand.

Snax blockchain has thought this is a great idea and is capitalising on not only blockchain social media but twitter and instagram as well .

Is this something we should be in bracing or avoiding ?

I see pros and cons to this.
