What I feel that different types of Dapps are playing important role on steem blockchain. They are beauty or spice or part of this platform.. You can use several Dapps at a time plus you can change your taste whenever you want. Also you are getting some rewards for using them.. Well, I never seen a platform where so many DApps and applications are available at a same time...Full of opportunities for everyone...

My favorite DApp is Drugwars!
Thanks for those thoughts @priyanarc, there are a lot of dapps, and many more coming I just found one that makes it easy to share YouTube videos on Steem called @steemblr.
