It's raining in Costa Rica

First raining after an extended dry season. It is supposed that this is going to be a very dry year where rains are going to make later than usual, expected mid April and this time expecting them until June at least. This is very important for the tropics and specially for certain micro climates that depend heavily on the rains that cone from both Caribbean and Pacific.
Some agricultural activities are also planned carefully following rains and specially when to plan and when to harvest, the drought haven't started yet but some things like beans and rice which very important in costa ricans dieta is having a hard time for producers since this year is looking very bad. Some people who have cattle are starting to sell for a loss because there is not enough grass for them to sustain their Ani also while this is going to increase meat price due to scarcity in the near future.
I really had a big smile when I started hearing rain drops falling as today I also decided to place few recipients with water for the poor birds not having enough water supplies for drinking. It felt like a relief knowing that water is converted in food in many ways that sustain life and seeing it falling from. The sky was really a blessing.
