Food forest stroll and show: Mulberry trees for the WIN!
Good evening @dtube community and Steem Blockchain! The sun is close to setting here in S. Utah and I just thought I'd share the mulberry trees with you. We have many types of mulberry tree growing throughout the food forest and they are all delicious...but the PAKISTAN....variety....oh my goodness!!!! This is a special tree and fruit! The leaves are gorgeous..and the canopies the trees create are fantastic providers of shade! We are also growing white, oscar and ever-bearing varieties of mulberry tree.
For those interested in where to scoop their own genetics, I'll post some links below. I'm still hunting many varieties like the White Pakistan!!! I waited years before planting mulberry in our food forest and wish I had wayyyy sooner!!! Planting more soon!!! :)

Green and beautiful mulberry trees. nice surroundings you have many varieties of mulberries and of course they will not bear fruit simultaneously so you can eat mulberry fruit throughout the year. Amazing how the food forest is coming along! It seems as if it was only a few weeks ago that the leaves were blossoming!

Wish we had some in Vegas, we can’t hardly grow anything here. I think we can grow Lemons and limes but that’s about it 😂

i hear ya bro!!! grew there for awhile...and it's a tough spot to get things going but these bad boys will do it! :) they love heat and will seek out groundwater once watered well the first few years. many mulberries growing there..in lv. here's a great video from shamus oleary ...sharing about growing them in our hot deserts like s. utah , nv, ca and az.
