IN NOTHINGNESS WITH YOU
“Its all meaningless” is thought a negative,
Nihilist statement
Fighting purposelessness is imperative,
An excuse for impatience
They’re running in circles and calling em squares
Babylon aint so bad
My blunts a-blaze and the weathers fair
They’re inside just playing sad
And now we’ve got these woods to ourselves
You must believe in something, they would have you
And I believe
But in the presence of all this nothing, I’ve gotta choose
To disagree
And Ill rejoice way out here in the middle of space
Sing songs and draw birds
Ive found my home and Ive found my place
Stared some hard truths in the face
And Ive been TRYING to put it all into words
Navigating these woods by yourself can be lonely
So Im really glad that I have you
