Video of Resin and Mason bees working on their bamboo homes

I recently posted pictures of when these bees were busy checking out and going inside the homes I made for them. In early spring before they emerged from their old homes I built some new bamboo bee homes for these resin and mason bees. I used a skill saw and cut them up pretty rough but the bees do not seem to mind. Next time ill use a miter saw, though I have other plans for a newer design. Though I really need a drill press for the design which I do not have, may need to wait till I have one or come across a shop that will let me use theirs for an hour.

In the mean time the bees are busy filling these homes with mud. You can identify the resin bee homes due to the white color of the mud. While the mason bees use a variety of mud, but usually the red Georgia clay which is orange to red in color.
