DTube EXCLUSIVE #44 - GAINING AUTOMATIC FOLLOWERS
Each time I post a video right now, I am gaining an instant 50+ followers. Is this happening to anyone else?
To test this, my follower count is currently at 1497 before posting this video. Let's see where it's at straight after.

Interesting, some sort of auto-follow bot loop then to get followbacks I imagine
It happens to me on Steemit whenever I post any sequel to my Journey to the West. I am cycling from HK to France with my girlfriend. I really got shocked to see that whenever I post anything about it, my subscriber count increases by 30+. At the start it was 20 and then I got something like 80 and today I have 190+. The rate of increase decrease over time so I am less suspicious about bots. Besides, what is the gain of the creator of those bots to subscribe to me, as I am a newcomer on Steemit and don't have much content yet. My theory is that my new posts gets to the top of New Posts when you enter the Steemit homepage. A lot of people may see my title and some really subscribed.
I believe more people are joining. I joined 28 days ago and I'm almost to 300! A good amount of the people following me are active, so I'm not sure if its bots.

Hi @thelifeofjord, CRAZY... I was just too put a video together on the same topic! YES same here. Not quite +50 but for sure a huge traffic on new followers in the first 2 min after every upload. Let's see if someone knows about and comes up with an explanation! Maybe I shoot my video afterward if nobody comes up with something! Have a great day
Glad it's not just me being crazy then! Hasn't happened this time yet but definitely noticed it on my other recent uploads
I took several short video sequences where I show the upload after minutes and how my phone with Steemify goes crazy! I will put the vid together and try to upload it... but yeah, nothing to complain about new followers with each video ;-)
I heard they were hoping for return follows in order to become re steem service. Cast a wide net type of thing
