The increase in tourism in Chernobyl, generated by the HBO series,
It's fashion.
I would say it is a high risk tourism. Creator of many emotions.
I can not imagine that the former residents of the area, in which there was so much horror, did tourism.
But that is the trend and the visit to Chernobyl is supposed to be fashionable.
Good documentation, interesting and chilling.

It's amazing how quickly nature recovers when people are forcibly taken out of the way. I'm bit sure it's somewhere I'd feel comfortable going myself, but it's interesting to see it through your camera lens.
The biggest take away from this was that it was surreal! Lol.

I've never seen that documentary on HBO but I know that many people go there recently. I also have a few friends who visited Chernobyl in the past.
